"Hard work" doesn't mean "miserable life." One can work hard at something they enjoy and in that sense, the work itself is it's own reward. HERE'S THE POINT: No one gets to define hard work for anyone else. Just like success, you define hard work for yourself. My definition of hard work supports my definition of success.
What motivates you to be at Vertus? (what is your “why?")
I'm grateful that I have an opportunity to encourage change and reshape the mindset of our youth. You can't have million-dollar dream on a minimum wage work ethic. hard work pays off.
Who are you outside of Vertus?
A husband, father, and native Rochesterian. I have been a member of the Ecumenical Community for over 28 years, fighting for social justice for all people. I'm a relationship builder, trendsetter, and also a license Organizational Development Consultant. I've had an extensive career in the insurance industry and financial planning market. I have a Series 66 license, a degree in communications, and a Master's Degree of Divinity. I love playing golf and enjoy traveling.
