Dr. Fredrick Johnson is senior pastor of the First Genesis Baptist Church in the city of Rochester, NY. As well, Dr. Johnson is the President & CEO of the First Genesis Development Corporation, a 501c3, holistic economic empowerment corporation that focuses on housing development, business enterprise and community development through partnerships.
Dr. Johnson earned his Bachelors Degree from Delaware State University, MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology, Masters and Doctorate from Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College. As well, he is Professor at Roberts Wesleyan College & Northeastern Seminary teaching Business and Leadership Development to men and women entering the ministry and preparing pastors and leaders for the 21st century. He is Director of Field Education for Northeastern Seminary.
Dr. Johnson has years of experience in developing and leading non-profit and charity organizations with a focus on community development. His expertise in this area grew out of his first career of more than 20 years in the private sector working for multinational corporations.
