I believe that hard work always pays off. Some people are talented and it stunts their growth as a person, but if you always out work the competition, you will eventually surpass that guy who they say was so talented. There is no denying hard work, and that's what I want our students to be accustomed to.
What motivates you to be at Vertus? (what is your “why?")
What motivates me to be at Vertus is the uniqueness of the schools curriculum and the students and staff that are here. When I went to school to receive an education in the community with this many options given, as well as to work with such a diverse staff was non-existent. I feel Vertus is on the right trajectory to change the way education looks as a whole in this current climate.
Who are you outside of Vertus?
Outside of Vertus I am a father first, a loving son, and a pretty good basketball official. I am a man of the community.
What is your motivational message for students, current or future?
